Dirtiest Jobs on Earth

Sewer cleaners If you think your job is messy, it’s probably nowhere near as bad as some of the dirtiest jobs on the planet.  For all the gross things in life — poop, bile, garbage, sludge, maggots, blood, guts and more — there is somebody out there who has to work with these substances and clean up when we’re done.  In this spirit, EverydayCareer examined the top 25 dirtiest jobs on Earth.

For example, consider the sewer cleaners.  All the waste that’s flushed down our toilets flows through a massive series of underground pipes to a processing plant.  But occasionally, sh** happens, and stuff get stuck.  And when sewers back up, there are two possible outcomes.  1) The waste will spew right back out of the drain, or 2) some poor schmuck has to climb down into the stinky, dirty sewer and unclog it.  Since we rarely see raw sewage spew onto the street, you can believe there are some thankless souls performing very dirty jobs to keep our streets and bathrooms clean.
